School-to-School is a ministry partnership, currently, between The Ambrose School in Boise, Idaho and Bright Future School in Nyagatare, Rwanda. This is an opportunity for both schools to learn about each other and become involved in each others’ lives. Bright Future School is a Christian school, established by ABFM-Rwanda, a non-denominational, indigenous Christian organization with a mandate to raise godly leaders for tomorrow. Bright Future School is a village school with many needs. Among them is a need for more teachers, student sponsorships, more classrooms, a staff room, a library, school supplies, desks, and electricity. The Ambrose School is Boise Valley’s regional classical Christian school, in operation since 1995 (formerly Foundations Academy). The student body consists of students that represent over 70 different churches. They are an evangelical protestant Christian school, accredited by the Association of Classical Christian Schools. One of their goals is to show their students how to put their faith into practice in practical and compassionate ways. Since this partnership began in the fall of 2011, The Ambrose School has collected and donated monies, individually or as classes, to help meet some of the needs of Bright Future School. A leadership team has been formed to discuss ways to share and understand the way of life of the students in BFS. Both schools have benefitted in this ongoing relationship. We invite other schools to come alongside to give hope to the hopeless children and their families in Rwanda. If your school is interested in developing a School-to-School relationship with a school in Rwanda, please contact us.
